Live Music This Fall on the Grand Strand

One of the things we’ve been most excited about this year is the return of live music to the Grand Strand. Last year presented plenty of unique challenges, one of them being the drastic reduction or even complete vacancy of live music in our area, and the effects were felt hard. Music has always been a big part of the attraction to Myrtle Beach, from exciting modern acts at the Myrtle Beach House of Blues to the local sounds at the historic Bowery, and we can’t wait to get back to seeing our favorite bands. We want to highlight some of the shows we’re most looking forward to, so you can have a music-filled stay with us during your next visit!

Every weekend in October, the House of Blues at Broadway at the Beach will feature free live music on their deck. This live music series will feature local and touring acts such as the Southern Outlaw Country Band, Gary Alexander and the Black Heart Brotherhood, and more! But the fun at the House of Blues doesn’t stop there. With touring bands returning to the road, the House of Blues will be welcoming acclaimed rock acts like Blue October on October 23rd, 2021 and Kip Moore on November 19th

If country music is more your style, then Wahoo’s Country Music Jam at Wahoo’s Fish House offers the perfect weekend of live music! With acts like the Josh Brannon Band, the Thomas Road Band and Warrick McZeke, along with all kinds of tasty food and drink specials, the Country Music Jam promises to be one of the most exciting music festivals on the Grand Strand this year!

November 25-27 will also bring some of the country’s best Bluegrass acts to our area with the South Carolina Bluegrass Festival. This Thanksgiving weekend will mark the 50th Anniversary of the festival, and it always brings a lot of fun and great music to the area. With more than 15 live bluegrass bands featured this year, fans of the genre will find a lot to love this weekend.

And of course, don’t forget about one of our favorite year-round music shows in Myrtle Beach, Legends in Concert! This long-running musical tribute show is not only award-winning and acclaimed year-after-year, but continues to evolve and please guests nightly with its commitment to recreating music history’s most storied legends. From Buddy Holly and Elvis to Barry White and Louis Armstrong, music lovers are sure to find a loving tribute to their favorite acts of yesterday and today with their wide bevy of talented performers.

These are just a few of the many amazing musical offerings Myrtle Beach has to offer at the tail-end of 2021! Be sure to let us know your favorite upcoming show! We look forward to seeing you soon!

Surpasses Our Expectations!
