If you’ve visited us, or Myrtle Beach in general, then chances are that you’ve visited one of the Grand Strand’s premiere shopping and entertainment destinations: Barefoot Landing. Set along the Intracoastal Waterway, Barefoot Landing is one of the most popular attractions for shopping, dining & entertainment destinations in the area, and we want to highlight some of our favorite places to make your visit as exciting as possible! 

Before you even enter Barefoot Landing, you may notice Alligator Adventure directly adjacent to it, and we can’t think of a better way to start your day! Here, you'll find yourself face to face with nature's fiercest and most beautiful animals as you tour one of the largest reptile facilities in the world. Don't miss the Mountain Lion exhibit as well! 

After the excitement of Alligator Adventure, pay a visit to Landshark Bar and Grille for lunch, one of Barefoot Landing’s best restaurants. Located on the water and inspired by the traditional beach bars of the Atlantic Coast, Landshark channels Jimmy Buffett’s style and combines it with a menu that features burgers, fresh seafood, signature cocktails, and more!  

For an after-lunch sweet treat, Sweet Molly's Creamery is only a short distance away. Family-owned and operated, this ice cream shop has been using high-quality ingredients to make homemade frozen delights since 2004 and has remained a staple of Barefoot Landing ever since. 

After all this dining, what could be better than walking it off and doing some shopping? Crabby Jack's General Store is a fun, one-of-a-kind festival emporium of ALL things Myrtle Beach. Find a souvenir to celebrate your time on the Grand Strand, pick up a snack, or even meet Crabby Jack himself! Cariloha provides a store completely merchandised with products made of bamboo, including bed and bath items as well as men's and women's clothing. And for the pop culture aficionados, Hollywood Heroes & Villains offers collectibles of all kinds including t-shirts, drink ware, toys and much more! Take a walk through the store and you'll feel like you're in front of the TV or movie screen! 

To wrap up your day at Barefoot Landing, we can’t think of any better way to celebrate such a fun-filled day than to catch a show at one of the two venues located on site. Maybe you’ll catch your favorite band playing at the House of Blues, or pay a visit to the Alabama Theatre, whose shows were voted #1 by Myrtle Beach visitors. The theatre presents its Guest Artists Concert Series with acts like The Temptations, Four Tops, Josh Turner & the Oak Ridge Boys, and more.
