Surfside Beach BBQ Festival
March 3 – March 4, 2023
Join the town of Surfside Beach the weekend of March 3rd and 4th for their upcoming BBQ festival! On Friday evening, the event kicks of with an “anything but barbecue” menu. However, the real festivities begin at 10AM on Saturday, March 4th. This family friendly event has free admission and features delicious BBQ, live entertainment and much more.
33rd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival
March 11, 2023
The North Myrtle Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival is the largest on the Grand Strand. Beginning promptly at 9am on Saturday, March 11th, this two-hour phenomenon is the perfect festive event for the whole family. After the parade is over, the celebration continues with a street festival. Featuring over 120 vendors, with crafts, food, and local businesses - all will have a variety of treats for everyone to enjoy.
34th Annual Run to the Sun Car and Truck Show
March 16 – March 18, 2023
The Annual Run to the Sun Car and Truck Show is returning to the Old Myrtle Square Mall for the 34th year. This classic car show is among the largest on the east coast and features over three-thousand pre 1989 cars and trucks. Don’t forget the numerous vendors and sponsors. There’s something here for everyone!
22nd Annual Kidztime Festival
March 18, 2023
Happening from noon to 4PM on March 18th is the 22nd Annual Kidztime Festival. Grab the family and enjoy live entertainment, fun activities, character appearances, and much more!

Earth Day Festival

Brookgreen Gardens is home to year-round beauty and exciting events – their Earth Day Festival is no exception! Visit their Butterfly Field for an Earth Day Festival filled with fun and educational activities for all ages. Adult visitors can learn more about native plants and conservation, while children will have the chance to explore S.T.E.A.M. stations and complete an Earth Day passport! The event will also include meet and greets with live animal ambassadors, exciting games, and more!
