There's Plenty of Summer Fun in Myrtle Beach!

The most exciting time to be in Myrtle Beach is upon us, and there’s no shortage of things to do! After last year’s unpredictable and stressful lockdowns, we’re excited to see the Grand Strand lively once again with exciting events. From live concerts to art displays and even fireworks spectaculars, there’s always something waiting for you this summer.

Barefoot Landing, one of Myrtle Beach’s greatest shopping and entertainment centers, is hosting Summerfest 2021, and it is shaping up to be an essential part of any visit to the area. Featuring live music, family fun, and entertainment nightly from June 7th through August 30th, Barefoot Landing’s Summerfest offers something unique for all interests. Whether you’re checking out the weekly firework shows, live comedy, or exciting concerts on the Dockside Village Amphitheater Stage, you won’t want to miss Summerfest this year.

Broadway at the Beach, Myrtle Beach’s other premier entertainment center, is also hosting a plethora of exciting events this summer! Be sure to check out their fireworks extravaganzas every Tuesday and Friday, nightly live music at Bar Louie, and strolling character experiences, where you and your family can meet all of your favorite characters from film and TV!

In North Myrtle Beach, don’t miss the live music of Music on Main. Located directly on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach, you and your family can experience any of the delicious downtown restaurants, shop, and dance to the wonderful music every Thursday night. You can even bring your beach chair to simply kick back and relax!

For even more live music fun, be sure to reserve your tickets for The Carolina Opry, the only show to be named a “Top Attraction in Myrtle Beach” by CNBC. With a cast of over 35 talented performers, The Carolina Opry offers a variety show like no other! You’ll experience all genres of music and the biggest hits of yesterday and today, making this show perfect for all comers! Among the talented cast you’ll see vocalist Delvin Choice of NBC’s The Voice, national recording artist Brad Long, hip-hop cloggers All That! of NBC’s America’s Got Talent, powerhouse vocalists Christie Templeton, Tangena Church and Chas Croft Sorrells, fiddling champion Trent Wideman and bluegrass virtuoso Gary Brown.

If exploring some local fruits, veggies, and more is more your speed, pay a visit to any of Myrtle Beach’s 14 summer farmer’s markets! Not only will you get to take the wonderful local flavor of the Grand Strand home with you, but you’ll be supporting the communities we love so much.

As you can see, there’s no shortage of excitement to experience in Myrtle Beach this summer, and this is only scratching the surface! We hope to see you soon, and can’t wait to hear what great memories you make when you visit us!
